Origami
Paper, a product from trees has given us many possibilities. With paper we can write, draw, make books to read and much more.
The art of paper folding came from China to Japan around year 600. Between 1603-1867, the Edo period, the paper production increased and made it more accessible. Origami became a hobby for many people.
Today, the art of paper has gone from a hobby, to even become works of art. With this series of photos I have tried out origami in relation to the light weight of paper. I wanted to capture and maintain the feeling of feeling light as a thin paper.
